What to expect in the coming days from Desperate Dion

I think I can safely say I know what Stephane Dion's plan is going forward from now until October 14th.

Lie. Smear. Scare.

- They will distort the truth about the youth justice reforms, aided and abetted by their dishonest lackies
- Lie about Canada's economic position
- Lie about supposed cuts to the arts and culture
- Desperately look for old blog posts or newspaper articles that have quotes that can be easily twisted out of context
- Launch new attack ads despite promising not to
- Hide Dion, and promote the "team"
- Bury the Green Shift
- Cry about the "biased" media
- Dismiss the polls
- Have Dion's sister (or wife if he doesn't have one) threaten to beat up Stephen Harper
- Need help picking out his clothes and underwear
- Duct tape his plane to keep it flying
- Promise ever more new spending

We're better off with Harper.

I expect that the Liberals are keeping what they think is a surprise ace in the hole, a scorched earth of campaign policies, ad, announcement, or "gotcha" moment. It will make Paul Martin Notwithstanding Clause announcement during the leaderhsip debate look like an item on a breakfast menu. As the big loss looks increasingly probable, look for the Liberals to get in the gutter as never before.

Expect this too

Expect the Dippers to take on the Libs as well as keep up the attacks on PMSH.
Today, one poll has Dippers and Libs tied.
Jack has to keep that momentum going, non-stop without a dip, if he is to win Official Opposition.

It's too late for Dion, the image of him as a weanie is solid,
the Greenshift is out.
And that is exactly what 'Liberals' want.

The only way to get rid of Dion is for Liberals to lose this election.
With Jack looking so strong, something antiDion Liberal strategists didn't count on, Liberals may not be able to control how badly they lose.

I'm not so sure the Dippers will be party to strategic voting,
because they want to win seats AND increase their popular vote...for the next election (perception and $ are critical).
