Tories NOW gaining in key ridings

The polls roller coaster ride continues, it appears now that the Conservatives are gaining ground in the 45 most important ridings across Canada.

These poll results are from the 16-18th, this leads some credence to the theory that Ritz's comments won't have a significant impact on the electorate.

The Ritz story broke on the 17th and was big on the 18th, it is now slowly dying despite the best efforts of the Liberals and mainstream media. Oh, and yes I still think Ritz should resign.

We're better off with Harper.

I think that reaction to the Ritz cracker affair will be better reflected in the polls that come out Monday/Tuesday. And yes, we are better off with Harper.

anon, yes I will be watching for the affect on the polls until then. But we should have seen some affect by now as it happened in the middle of the polling period.

Nanos and other polls have also come out since, both taken during/after the Ritz "controversy" - the Conservatives numbers increased during that period.

The average person have gotten tired of these media-raised "controversies" and couldn't care less - stories like this do not impact their personal lives or pocketbooks.

It's all about leadership, and who is best to drive the economy.

Jim, we still need to wait a few more days.

Well, the new Nanos poll has the Tories dropped to only 36% after the Ritz cracker affait. Like I said, you gotta wait a few days for the polls to catch up the the MSM stories. Anyways, Harper can push the numbers up again with a solid week of campaigning and continuing negative advertising against the carbon tax-on-everything. And no more effin' gaffes!

Go blue!
