Well it is good that Garth Turner heeded my advice and apologized for what had happened. Too bad it is now too little too late.
His explanation is designed to make him (as usual) the hero of the story. But he still claims he didn't know the Mr Shaye.
In any case, I carried on with my process, being stopped twice during the block to be asked further on-camera questions. When we arrived at the one home where the door was answered, the encounter was brief, since I had never spoken to this man before and, although he was a ‘friendly,’ he did not endorse me or the Liberals.
It is hard to believe that he has never met his campaign manager's son. From what I understand Ms Shaye has been Mr Turner's campaign manager for some time, since October 2006. This also doesn't explain how Mr Turner knew that Mr Shaye was in a new house. Mr Turner, how did you know Mr Shaye had only recently moved in?
So what say you?

CPAC does not seem happy at all to played for fools by one Garth Turner.
This may be lives No. 7 & 8 used up for the Liberal from Halton.
When you actively try to bamboozle the media covering you, you have and will continue to have problems. PVD on CPAC looks none-too-pleased with Garth and I'm sure Martin Stringer + his crew ain't too happy to be set up.
He also threw campaign manager Esther Shaye under the bus to try and save his good name. Garth's true character is shining through.
Will the media avoid The Garth now, for fear of being sucked into an embarrassing situation?
Likely.
