It's a new low for Dion

CTV is now (finally) reporting Dion's attack ad on their website. The last line of the article says it all doesn't it?

It follows repeated promises by Dion that he wouldn't indulge in personal attacks.

Stephane Dion is a liar and cannot be trusted.

Canada.
We're better off with Harper.

Surely you jest...
Harper has a string of brokern promises that preclude me from voting for him, personal attacks on Dion notwithstanding. I object to his actions on the income trust after breaking his promise, I object to calling an election when there was one legislated for next year, I object to his pandering to the separatists in QC. I like cutting taxes and I like the reduction of government interference in our lives. I don't like incompetant ministers, I don't like the war in Iraq, but support Afganistan, but most of all, I want to see debate on policy.

If i was old enough i would vote for harper because i like that commercial of him talking about his kids and if my dad spent time with me like that it would be awesome and i agree with your thought on the upcoming election and it might have been a mistake, but i guess we'll just have to wait and see what comes out of it

Awww... You know that great thing about Stephen Harper is that he can be a great PM and a great Dad at the same time. That is a gift. To him and his kids. And us.

Whenever I listen to Liberals or NDPers complain about Harper's broken promises they can only come up with two; one he "broke" because of a firm belief in the economic necessity of it and the second he "broke" because of the abuse of power by the opposition to disrupt parliament and turn committees into star chambers. So, if after nearly three years, you can only find these two things to complain about, let me assure you that three days didn't go by in the last 13 years of Liberal rule where near criminal activity didn't occur - from Chretien's golf course "sale" to the HRDC billions to the gun-registry billions to the Sponsorship scandle that is still being investigated -- yet for some reason these upstanding citizens on the left don't seem to mind these events; they do, however, have such objection to two changes in direction - both legal and public. I think it is simply that Liberals are desparate to get back to the trough to pay off their debts, appoint friends to boards and resume their corrupt, disreputable practices. They may be able to convice Canadians of their lies once again but I, for one, am working 12 hour days to ensure their candidate in my riding doesn't get his grubby hands anywhere near taxpayer funds ever again. I hope all honest citizens are working for their respective Conservative candidates also.

Harper has no plan? No hidden agenda plan like the Liberano$ and their TAX GRAB now shifted off of the planet? The only ones who "Stooped to a new low" are the HYPROCRITE Liberals, who are using the Canadian DEATHS to score political points in an election. They will stoop to as low as you cam go as shown in paliament for the past year+. As far as the Liberal Crack Pot comment about the call of the election....WHAT A LAUGH....Wasn't it the NDP & LIEBERALS threatening an election for MONTHS? LMAO. Too bad they were BROKE & haven't paif off DEBTS for their leadership campaigns. Pandering to Quebec? How about LIEBERALS pandering to Canadians? Whe you are playing in the snack pit with SNAKES....Incompetant ministers? How about Goodale & Bryson to name two...LMHO. How can there be any DEBATE on POLICY when it is just SPEND...throw money at the Canadian suckers by the LIBERANO$ and the NDP(Bob Rae days). Wake up for #$%^% sake.

I own a lot of Income trust units in different companies and they have held their value very well and have continued to increase their distributions every year.

Any moron who put all their retirement money into income trusts and then bailed out deserves a teensy bit of the blame for their own losses.

'I object to his pandering to the separatists in QC'

The seperatists are polling the lowest since....ever.
How did PMSH pander the seperatist?
History is being written right now,
for the first election since the Bloc was formed, UNITY is not an issue. Craig Oliver said so, so it is the gospel truth.

Liberals have stoked the fires of seperation intentionally, in Quebec and Alberta for many years.
The LPC and the Bloc need each other to survive . One goes down, the other goes with them.

Dion is no longer running the show.
He likely doesn't like the 'dead people' ad, it definitely is not his style.
Dion is not that ugly on the inside, but he must have approved it (or maybe not???).
The 'clap' ad was Dion's style.

Anon@7:29?

What does Iraq have to do with anything? We don't have any troops in Iraq outside of any that may be on exchanges with NATO partners.

The Liberals have no morals if they feel the need to play of these tragic deaths to try and win votes.
