Liberals Continue their negative assault on the Economy

As predicted, the Liberals continue their attack on the economy. Attempting to scare Canadians into voting for the Liberals.

This is inspiring leadership on behalf of all Canadians by the Liberal party of Canada, don't vote for us because we are visionary, and have the best plan for Canada, vote for use because Harper is scary. Big surprise. This is their election strategy now.

And, this announcement was made by Michael Ignatieff, not Stephane Dion.

"Deputy Liberal leader Michael Ignatieff warned business leaders in Toronto on Monday that Stephen Harper would lead the country into an "economic crisis" if he returns to government."

If Stephane Dion is elected as Prime Minister of this country, then we will have an economic crisis. Even the most optimistic economic models have the economy contracting in the first 4-5 years. Now is not the time to risk a recession for an unproven, untested tax shifting strategy.

In the time of global economic uncertainty, Canada needs a government that is pragmatic and thoughtful, putting the lives of average Canadians first, a steady hand if you will to chart the good ship Canada through this rough economic waters. Now is not the time for grand experiments to shift tax around.

We're better off with Harper

You don't understand! You think it's easy making priorities?!? You tink I can come up with a plan with Bob and Mike waiting to stab me in the back for their turn at leading dis train wreck...er I mean Fedral party? I tried to telling you the truth dat Steven Harper is scary and he is to us Liberals... You think it's easy running against someone who does what he says?!? Dat scares the crap out of all us Liberals...we say one thing and Canadians can expect us do another... the truth is really scary to us... but den along comes this soft spoken Steven who says something and means it....no spin....just the facts and the truth.... now that's pretty scary! What if Canadians start listening and realize we're lying all the time to them.... we'll all be out of da jobs and have to get our 8 year pentions now before we max out and retire

Oh yes. The strong Liberal front bench.
Mr. American, the guy who supported the Iraq war,
the guy who won't lose any sleep over civilians being bombed,
the guy who spent the last 35 out of 38 years NOT living in Canada, the guy who's experience in government amounts to 2.5 years as an MP
and is now in a tough fight to keep his seat....
Iggy, you are not going to lead the Liberal party, lost opportunity, gone for ever.
Libs will NOT risk another election to a candidate they couldn't support the first time around.
