Voters prefer Harper as PM

The latest poll out shows that voters nationally prefer Stephen Harper for PM over Dion and Layton by a significant margin.

Asked who would make the best prime minister, 49.9 per cent chose Harper, followed by NDP leader Jack Layton at 30.5 per cent and Dion at 19.6 per cent.

That's right, more Canadians think that Jack Layton will make a better PM then Stephane Dion.

Interesting points:

1. Stephen Harper is polling over his support base
2. Jack Layton is polling over his support base
3. Stephane Dion is polling at half of his support base

So when will the contest to replace Stephane Dion start?
