The Liberal Party of Canada is skimping on their "environmentally responsible" carbon credits they are buying to offset their clunky junker of an airplane.
Point 1: The Liberals are paying 22 dollars a tonne
They are happy to pay 22 dollars a tonne for their airplane, but if they win the election and implement their carbon tax by year four we will be paying 40 dollars a tonne. I guess what is good for the gander isn't good for the goose.
Point 2: The Liberals will only be offsetting 75% of their carbon emissions.
Even though the entire concept of purchasing carbon credits is a scam, they Liberals cannot even do that right. CarbonZero a for-profit company skims 25% of their total revenue for administration and profit. Wait, people will give me money to invest and I get to take a profit without having to show a return on investment or even return the capital invested? Damn, sign me up for that.
We're better off with Harper.

offsetting? buying carbon credits? Just how does that help the eviroment? Or change the fact that He's doing exactly what he wants to tax us to stop doing? And, the company he's buying these credits from is???? 1 wind farm, 10 yrs old. And Liberal! Wake up, it's just a scam, the whole thing.
