Russia committing war crimes
It seems that Russia has been filmed committing war crimes in Georgia. The group Human Rights Watch claims to have evidence. Will the Left still defend Russia then?

The media has done a poor job of explaining the genesis of this conflict. It is impossible to say who is at fault...if that is even possible.
I guess you would have NATO commit all of its resources to freeing Georgia. Are you insane?
The US should not add Georgia to NATO. Imagine if Georgia was in NATO today. We would be mobilizing a million soildiers to fight Russia to free Georgia. Georgia, like individuals, must be self-reliant and not expect nanny state protection from the USA.

Anon #1, many posters on the left side of the blogsphere defended Russia. I critiqued one of them in an earlier post.
And of course the media has done a poor job educating the masses on the genesis of the conflict. It is the media.
Anon #2, so is Georgia not worth the sacrafice? What about Germany? France, or the rest of NATO?
What is worth the sacrafice? Only if they have oil?
