Polling Trends Confirmed by EKOS as well

The EKOS numbers are out.

Conservatives
Liberals -- 33%
NDP -- 26%
Bloc -- 10%
Green -- 12%

The Conservatives have dropped a bit again.

Looking at the seat projections:
Conservatives -- 130
Liberals -- 78
NDP -- 42
Bloc -- 58
Other -- 1

Not much would change, other then the Bloc gaining at the expense of Canada.

Once again the thin skin of Quebecers rears it's petulant head.
To think that a modest cut in some of the more questionable grants given out by the government would go unnoticed, but no, the starving artists have spoken, or so we are led to believe.
It's intersesting that the loudest critics within the industry are anything but starving artists.
The 8 billion dollar industry that critics say will be crippled by a 43 million dollar cut are being a tad disingenius with their argument.
The bad old Conservatives have increased spending over 8% this year and over 5% more since forming a government.
Since 3 billion dollars of the 8 billion generated by the indusrty are funded by taxpayers, you would think the industry would be a bit more grateful.
Harper has increased arts and cultural funding at a rate three times greater than inflation and all he gets are catcalls from the peanut gallery.
Go figure.
But then again, Quebec is always pouting about one thing or another.

On another note, if a Liberal government proposed the same cuts, all you'd hear is crickets.
